What you will do

• Own delivery and quality for Prime Video Web Client experiences.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers while removing blockers and raising engineering standards.
• Apply AI-driven approaches to development and testing across browsers and devices.
• Establish mechanisms to monitor customer experience, software quality, and operational health.
• Partner with product, design, and platform engineering teams on the Web Client roadmap.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering and working directly within engineering teams.
• Experience managing engineers and leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Knowledge of the full software, hardware, and network development lifecycle, including coding standards, reviews, source control, builds, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
• Experience designing or architecting systems using design patterns, reliability, and scalability principles.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing software engineering teams.
• Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership about requirements, product features, technical designs, and strategy.
