Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst (Insurance)

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve competitive intelligence reporting and benchmarking across core retail annuity product lines.
• Identify market movements, competitor actions, emerging trends, and business opportunities.
• Translate complex competitive data into recommendations for rate-setting, product positioning, executive discussions, and business strategy.
• Partner with Product Development, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Executive Leadership, and External Communications/Investor Relations.
• Use technology, automation, data visualization, and emerging AI capabilities to improve competitive analytics.
• Maintain an external market perspective through industry committees, market research organizations, and third-party information providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the annuity or life insurance industry, competitive intelligence, product development, product management, or market analysis.
• Strong knowledge of annuity products, features, value propositions, competitive positioning, and customer and distributor decision factors.
• Ability to analyze complex information and communicate concise, decision-useful insights to senior leaders.
• Strong critical thinking, creativity, independent judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with database, analytics, or data visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, management information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
