SOC Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Monitor custom security tooling for real-time alerts and suspicious activity.
• Triage, investigate, document, and escalate security incidents using established playbooks.
• Perform in-depth log analysis across the customer estate and investigate anomalous behavior.
• Support incident containment and remediation in collaboration with internal teams.
• Improve detection content by identifying gaps, reducing false positives, and tuning alerts.
• Assist with threat hunting, new security tool onboarding, and operational process improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on alert triage experience in a SOC, MSP, MSSP, or internal security team.
• Working knowledge of KQL, including querying sign-in, audit, and hunting data independently.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Entra ID security knowledge, including authentication flows, conditional access, OAuth, app consent, mailbox permissions, delegation, and audit trails.
• Practical understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and identity-led attacks against Microsoft 365.
• Sound judgment when evaluating evidence and drawing incident conclusions.
• Clear, concise written English for a technical audience under time pressure.
