IT Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, test, deploy, and improve cybersecurity detections for monitoring and alerting on potential threats.
• Perform complete incident triage, containment, remediation, documentation, and closure.
• Partner with digital and business operations to drive response actions and restore normal operations.
• Identify incident root causes, assess business impact, and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor threat intelligence and attacker techniques, and participate in tabletop exercises, training, and post-incident reviews.
• Mentor junior analysts and improve operational processes, documentation, and team knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 years of cybersecurity incident response experience in a global organization.
• Experience designing and developing detections and improving cybersecurity playbooks.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response and Security Information and Event Management solutions.
• Experience conducting forensic investigations and handling evidence.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and availability for after-hours or on-call incident support as required.
