Pre-Sales Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.

Salary: $190,000–$230,000 OTE annually.

What you will do

• Lead discovery with prospects and customers to identify agentic use cases with measurable business value.
• Build and deliver hirify.global Loops proofs of concept in weeks using the agentic platform and AI-assisted development tools.
• Present technical walkthroughs to architects and business cases to C-level stakeholders.
• Partner with Account Executives on technical validation during active sales cycles.
• Translate recurring customer patterns and field learnings into platform capabilities and roadmap input.
• Train core presales teams and run workshops on platform capabilities and digital workers.

Requirements

• Experience in presales, solutions engineering, or forward-deployed roles, including discovery, demos, proofs of concept, and objection handling.
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, multi-agent design, tool use, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Experience with Agent Studio or comparable orchestration tools.
• Understanding of asset-intensive industries such as enterprise asset management, field service management, manufacturing, or aerospace and defense.
• Ability to communicate credibly with developers, technical architects, and C-level stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites approximately 25–50%.

Nice to have

• Experience in forward-deployed, applied AI, or founding engineering roles at a fast-growing enterprise AI company.
• Experience translating field learnings into product requirements or roadmap input.
• Familiarity with LLMs, retrieval systems, and agent evaluation frameworks.
• Experience deploying software into aerospace and defense, energy, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
