VCA Client Consulting Manager - Travel & Entertainment

Location: US - Austin, TX; at least 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $114,400–$183,000 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead complex consulting engagements for North American travel and entertainment clients from scoping through delivery.
• Manage cross-functional project teams, workplans, timelines, stakeholders, risks, and engagement commitments.
• Analyze large industry and hirify.global datasets to produce insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance.
• Develop payments strategies, benchmarking analyses, product launches, customer lifecycle analytics, audience personalization, loyalty optimization, propensity models, and geospatial insights.
• Build client relationships, support business development, scope new engagements, and contribute to closing consulting opportunities.
• Create scalable solutions, toolkits, best practices, and AI-enabled efficiencies for the consulting practice.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Experience leading consulting projects or complex strategic initiatives from scoping through delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, consulting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as data science, analytics, product, marketing, sales, risk, finance, or technology.
• Relevant experience or demonstrated interest in payments, financial services, consulting, travel, hospitality, loyalty, merchants, or related areas.
• Ability to work in the Austin office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in airlines, lodging, cruise, online travel agencies, travel loyalty, co-brand portfolios, or travel-related merchant commerce.
• Knowledge of payments, banking, card issuing, acquiring, processors, payment schemes, marketing initiatives, or customer lifecycle strategies.
• Experience building executive-ready deliverables and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
