Compliance Consultant (Microsoft)

Location: Remote in the Eastern United States; travel may be required based on customer requests. US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a basic security clearance are required.

Salary: $120,000–$210,000 per year.

What you will do

• Advise customers on balancing operational needs with compliance requirements in CMMC-related projects.
• Author and augment policies, plans, procedures, processes, and plans of action and milestones for CJIS and FedRAMP environments.
• Interview customer personnel, assess systems and environments, present findings, and provide compliance education.
• Conduct compliance audits, assessments, and gap analyses to identify improvement areas.
• Collaboratively develop customer policies and procedures and help standardize compliance service offerings.
• Work with compliance subject-matter experts, technical architects, sales teams, and customers to deliver assigned projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with compliance standards including CMMC, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, DoD Risk Management Framework, CIS, HIPAA, CJIS, and FedRAMP.
• 3+ years of data security and compliance experience, including 2+ years of security compliance audit experience focused on NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, or CMMC v2.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft compliance capabilities in Azure and Office 365, as well as cloud security and compliance tools.
• At least two relevant certifications in security, compliance, or project management; CCP or CCA certification is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent-work skills.

• Experience with additional compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience developing and standardizing compliance service offerings.
