Data Scientist (Fintech)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom; hybrid work with a minimum of two office days per week for Levels 1–5 and three office days per week for Level 6 and above.

What you will do

• Develop data science and machine learning solutions for dynamic content targeting and prioritisation across multiple markets.
• Interpret predictive models and analysis, turning complex outputs into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deploy solutions using existing tools and frameworks, monitor production models, and own their ongoing performance.
• Improve model development, maintenance, optimisation, and standardisation processes within the Data Science team.
• Responsibly integrate new tools and approaches, including AI, into day-to-day development.
• Develop expertise across the full model lifecycle with guidance from the wider analytical community.

Requirements

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Foundational knowledge of statistical, machine learning, and other modelling techniques.
• Strong critical thinking, data reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand users, financial wellbeing, products, and business objectives when developing models.
• Ability to explain complex analysis and modelling findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, collaboration, continuous learning, and an outcomes- and impact-oriented approach.
