Senior Forward Deployed Scientist (AI)

What you will do

• Own customer engagements end-to-end, from framing business problems to building solutions and delivering commercial impact.
• Apply machine learning, forecasting, optimisation, and agentic AI techniques to demand forecasting, pricing, promotion, and supply-chain decisioning.
• Work directly with retail and manufacturing customers and their internal teams.
• Translate successful customer engagements into product direction and improved core capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, customer executives, and other stakeholders while operating with significant autonomy.

Requirements

• Strong experience applying machine learning or data science to real-world commercial problems.
• Depth in forecasting, optimisation, supply chain, or pricing is preferred.
• Fluent programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Excellent communication skills, including explaining complex models to non-technical audiences.
• Comfort with ambiguity, direct customer contact, and a fast-paced delivery environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with agentic or LLM-based systems.
• Experience building machine learning systems in production.
