Senior EU Accountant

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple European entities.
• Prepare structured financial reports for Group Finance and ensure accurate, timely data across systems and entities.
• Manage interactions with the Shared Service Centre covering AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations.
• Support forecasting, revenue and margin analysis, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate audit fieldwork and manage operational relationships with external auditors and local tax advisors.
• Act as the primary operational finance contact for Sales and Operations and deputize for the European Financial Controller when required.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or controlling.
• Experience working across multiple European entities in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and European GAAP frameworks, with the ability to manage end-to-end financial processes independently.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or NetSuite.
• Fluent English required; Italian or Spanish is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Italian or Spanish language skills.
