FP&A Business Partner (Tech & Product)

What you will do

• Act as the primary financial business partner for the CTO and CPO, providing financial visibility and challenging investment assumptions.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecasts for R&D and IT, including monthly variance analysis.
• Evaluate R&D phases and IT projects using NPV, IRR, ROI, and payback-period models.
• Partner with Engineering Leads to optimize headcount and freelance spending and track R&D intensity and innovation-effectiveness ratios.
• Manage Capex and capitalization, including hardware and software lifecycles, month-end closing coordination, and IAS 38 policy enforcement.
• Own and build a dedicated Pigment application and audit project time tracking for accurate capitalization and R&D tax-credit support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of progressive experience focused on R&D and project controlling.
• Strong IFRS knowledge, practical understanding of IAS 38 intangible-asset accounting, and project accounting rules.
• Advanced financial modeling skills for forecasting, business cases, and scenario analysis.
• Advanced Excel, dashboarding, and FP&A software experience; Pigment is a major plus.
• Fully fluent French and English required for work in an international European environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and track milestones in a fast-paced environment.
