Director, Investment Management, Residential

Location: New York, New York; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week working in an hirify.global office

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 annually, plus incentive pay

hirify.global is a global independent investment management firm, and hirify.global Real Estate manages institutional real estate investments across equity and debt strategies in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

What you will do

• Drive investment strategy, value creation, and outperformance through oversight of property operations, leasing, and capital deployment.
• Monitor asset performance against client objectives, budgets, pro-forma metrics, benchmarks, and market comparables.
• Develop and execute annual business plans while overseeing property management, leasing, accounting, legal, appraisal, tax, research, and third-party consultants.
• Lead acquisition due diligence, internal valuation and appraisal activities, and review operating, leasing, management, and service agreements.
• Communicate physical, financial, and leasing performance to Portfolio Management and collaborate with joint-venture partners and service providers.
• Conduct market visits and property inspections, assess prospective commercial tenants, and represent hirify.global as a regional multifamily investment management expert.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree required; an advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 7 years of hands-on institutional real estate experience in asset management, acquisitions, underwriting, or property management.
• Extensive experience with institutional-quality multifamily investments and a broad understanding of real estate operations and investment fundamentals.
• Strong quantitative analysis, organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency with Excel, Power BI, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Regular travel is required for market visits and property inspections.
