Area Manager - Quality Assurance/Systems (USA)

Location: Brookhaven, Mississippi, United States; onsite at 2200 Manufacturers Blvd NE

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annual salary, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone or stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement the area business plan by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through business reports and maintain quality and safety standards across the area.
• Execute quality assurance procedures involving inventory integrity, slot profiling, inventory adjustments, cycle inventory tests, damages, hazardous materials, and related logistics processes.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders while supporting hiring, promotion, and training activities.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, inventory, and ordering of systems hardware and software.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and systems application resolution with Information Systems Division and external vendors.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternatively, two years of Walmart logistics experience or two years of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of all required trainings and assessments is required.
• Ability to manage staffing, workloads, quality, safety, compliance, systems maintenance, and associate development.

Nice to have

• Inventory management experience.
