EP - Field Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil; field travel availability of 70%

What you will do

• Install, operate, perform preventive maintenance on, repair, and upgrade supported medical equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and in person, including emergency service and basic troubleshooting.
• Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and apply corrective actions under the complaint handling process.
• Document field service and remote support activities and complete related paperwork, RMAs, and administrative tasks.
• Manage service schedules, allocated inventory, tools, parts, vehicles, computers, and other company assets.
• Represent customer needs internally and complete required product and process training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification in engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in a related industry is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of servicing principles, practices, and procedures; medical device industry experience is preferred.
• English and Spanish verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Organization, problem-solving, analytical reasoning, customer service, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to travel on short notice, travel availability of 70%, operate a company vehicle with an appropriate license, and work weekends or off hours as needed.
