Senior Application Development Specialist (Personal Care)

Location: On-site at the Sumare Offices, at least four days per week; travel may include up to 20% domestic and 20% international travel.

What you will do

• Participate in cross-functional teams supporting the Personal Care platform for the Latin America market.
• Gather customer feedback and support the commercialization of growth products.
• Lead product trials at customer sites.
• Collaborate with sales to win new business and defend at-risk business.
• Support new product introductions and assess the competitive landscape.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the United States and Canada as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before the start date.
• At least five years of application engineering and customer-facing technology development experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Intermediate or higher Spanish is required.
• Current, valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
• At least five years of application engineering and customer-facing technology development experience in the Personal Care industry.
• Experience building customer relationships and developing and substantiating product claims.
• Experience with Scrum or Agile methodologies.
