What you will do
- Independently source development and series scope including mechanics, electronics, and systems.
- Manage requests for quotation, offer comparisons, negotiations, and award decisions.
- Build and maintain a high-performing supplier portfolio in collaboration with SQD.
- Perform cost analyses, target costing, and drive savings initiatives within projects.
- Represent procurement on the project team, managing schedules and risks.
Requirements
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or comparable.
- Experience in project or technical procurement, ideally within automotive or mechanical engineering.
- Strong negotiation skills and confident presence with suppliers.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Fluent German and English required.
