Sr. Regulatory Compliance Engineer

Location: Spokane Valley, United States; primarily onsite Monday–Friday, with up to 25% business travel

Annual base pay: $160,800–$241,200

What you will do

• Coordinate EMC, product safety, physical protection, and NEBS compliance testing and certification activities for hirify.global hardware.
• Prepare schedules, test procedures, test plans, compliance reports, and approval documentation.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external testing vendors to maintain certification programs.
• Review hardware designs, schematics, bills of materials, and regulatory legislation to identify compliance requirements.
• Participate in internal and off-site testing, compliance seminars, and symposiums, including up to 25% travel.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and resolution of non-compliance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant EMC, product safety, or regulatory compliance experience; 7–10 years preferred.
• Proficiency with CISPR, CSA, EN, IECEE CB Scheme, FCC, NEBS, TUV, and UL certification and testing standards.
• Working knowledge of IT and telecommunications equipment requirements, power electronics, the National Electric Code, wiring diagrams, and electronic circuits.
• Hands-on experience with EMC and product safety test equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, multitasking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
