Software Engineer II (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; full-time on-site, 5 days per week

Base salary: $100,000–$200,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Develop robust full-stack software components using data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design patterns.
• Use AI coding assistants to generate, review, critique, and selectively apply AI-generated code.
• Contribute to technical story breakdowns, acceptance criteria, feature architecture, and implementation design.
• Write automated tests, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering practices.
• Resolve emergent platform issues and build automation frameworks to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate in Agile development cycles using Git for version control and deployments.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical or analytical field; equivalent experience is not accepted in lieu of a degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional software development experience.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools, including evaluating AI-generated code.
• Development experience and technical fluency in Java or C#.
• Experience with Git and collaborative branch management.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow.
