Marketplace Strategy Manager (Travel)

Location: Barcelona, Spain — hybrid home-office model

What you will do

• Define marketplace sourcing strategy and optimise the provider mix for sustainable value generation.
• Manage relationships with diverse content providers and ensure agreed quality targets are met.
• Define sourcing strategy for ground transportation, including rail and bus, in cooperation with Product, IT, and legal.
• Identify suitable sourcing partners across multiple geographies and contribute to the overall transport content strategy.
• Align key stakeholders, facilitate discussions with senior leadership, and deliver roadmap objectives on time.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a top-tier consultancy.
• English proficiency at C1–C2 level.
• Strategic mindset and results-driven approach.
• Agile decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, IT, legal, transport, and senior leadership stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience using applied AI tools such as Gemini or other AI-powered assistants.
• Curiosity about experimenting with and integrating emerging AI-driven solutions.
• Ability to use AI tools to improve problem-solving and productivity.
