Financial Controller (Interim- Maternity leave)

What you will do

• Own the full financial closing cycle, including monthly closings, financial statements, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations and prepare weekly cash flow forecasts.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and audits and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize internal controls and maintain the internal control framework.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement across finance processes and maintain Jira and Confluence documentation.
• Act as the point of contact for finance processes, systems, and tooling across the business.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial control, audit, or core accounting, ideally in an international or high-growth technology environment.
• Practical mindset with an interest in process automation, system efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Fluent English and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Based in the Netherlands with valid local work authorization.

• RA qualification or an equivalent qualification path.
