TL;DR
IT Application Specialist (AI/BI): Translating business needs into enterprise application enhancements and digital solutions with an accent on AI, BI, workflow automation, and application support. Focus on delivering AI-enabled solutions, troubleshooting complex incidents, coordinating global teams, and driving user adoption through training and process improvement.
Location: Shanghai, China; occasional travel may be required for projects, workshops, and deployments.

What you will do
- Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, map current and future processes, and define application enhancements or digital solutions.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI, BI, and workflow automation, define value metrics, and track benefits realization.
- Participate in or lead application enhancement, rollout, and integration projects under established IT governance.
- Provide application support by triaging incidents, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating fixes with IT teams and vendors.
- Ensure solutions and data usage meet security, privacy, compliance, and technology standards.
- Drive user adoption through training, communications, SOPs, knowledge articles, and feedback collection.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in low-code automation, analytics/BI, scripting, or AI solution tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Power BI, Python, or equivalent enterprise technologies.
- Strong business analysis, solution delivery, application support, troubleshooting, and requirements definition skills.
- Experience working with enterprise applications such as CRM, ERP, or PLM is preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese are required.

- Experience delivering AI-enabled business solutions in global or China-based projects.
- Experience working with regional or global counterparts in a multinational environment.
