PeopleSoft Finance Consultant (UAT)

What you will do

• Design and execute end-to-end UAT for accounting and tax automation solutions affecting PeopleSoft General Ledger.
• Translate functional requirements, business rules, solution designs, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scenarios and plans.
• Validate PSGL configurations, accounting data, interfaces, entries, balances, reports, and regulatory outputs.
• Reconcile PSGL results with authorized source files, queries, and independent controls.
• Manage requirements-to-test traceability, defects, retesting, regression testing, risks, and release-readiness reporting.
• Maintain complete audit-ready evidence and act as a functional bridge between Finance, Accounting, business users, Technology, and solution owners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in functional analysis, QA/UAT, business analysis, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft General Ledger and functional GL process validation.
• Experience designing and executing UAT and functional testing, including test cases, acceptance criteria, test plans, and traceability matrices.
• Knowledge of accounting data and configurations, catalogs, ChartFields and accounting combinations, open and closed periods, templates, historical balance loads, transactions, and balances.
• Experience with reconciliations, defect management using JIRA or an equivalent tool, advanced Excel, and audit-ready testing documentation.
• Intermediate or advanced English is required for documentation and collaboration with global teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly controlled environments.
• PeopleSoft Query Manager, R01 or comparable accounting/regulatory reporting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience using Power BI for test-result analysis, reporting, or monitoring.
• Experience testing accounting or tax automation solutions, integrations, interfaces, data migrations, or historical balance loads.
