Building Services Engineer (MEP)

Location: Weighbridge Rd, Shirebrook, Mansfield, UK; onsite warehouse role

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a large-scale retail warehouse site.
• Install, maintain, commission, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical building systems.
• Work with HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, power, plumbing, machinery, and other equipment.
• Lead the practical application of technical works and support small-scale projects.
• Supervise technicians and oversee contractor installation, maintenance, and compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with warehouse associates, suppliers, contractors, and internal departments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in MEP or multi-trade maintenance.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent MEP qualification.
• Up-to-date 18th Edition certification.
• Experience maintaining warehouse or large-scale site environments.
• PASMA, IPAF, ladder safety, or working-at-height training.
• Experience using hand and power tools, diagnosing problems, and working under pressure.
