is building an AI-driven financial operating system for European healthcare that automates administrative, billing, payment, and practice workflows.
What you will do
- Lead, inspire, and grow a high-performing team of 3–6 software and AI engineers.
- Collaborate with a product manager to iteratively build, launch, and improve new customer-facing products.
- Own hiring and help define the team's operating model.
- Explore and evaluate new LLM and AI engineering technologies.
- Own product quality, reliability, security, and high availability in production.
- Stay hands-on with development and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as an Engineering Manager and 8+ years of overall software development experience.
- Strong technical background building customer-facing products and production backend systems.
- Experience with TypeScript or a similar ecosystem and a willingness to learn proactively.
- Experience with cloud-native development.
- Deep understanding of software engineering processes and team management.
- Empathy and excellent communication skills.
