Internship Legal Wholesale Banking (Banking and Financial Regulation): Supporting in-house lawyers with legal research, transaction documentation, regulatory monitoring and knowledge initiatives in an international wholesale banking environment with an accent on banking law, commercial contracts and financial regulation. Focus on analysing complex legal and regulatory topics, preparing concise legal materials, and supporting contracts and transaction documentation.
Location: Hybrid role based in Amsterdam, Netherlands; dur the internship, enrolment at a Dutch university is mandatory, or at an EU university for EU passport holders.
Salary: €700 internship allowance based on a 36-hour work week

What you will do
- Conduct legal research on topics relevant to Wholesale Bank.
- Draft legal notes, summaries and presentation materials.
- Support the review and preparation of contracts and transaction documentation.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and share key finds.
- Contribute to knowledge management, internal train materials and Legal Wholesale Bank projects.
- Participate in meets and collaborate with legal specialists and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a university degree in Law, Notarial Law, European Law or a related legal field.
- At an advanced stage of a bachelor’s degree or pursu a master’s degree.
- Interest in bank, finance, corporate law, commercial contracts or financial regulation.
- Ability to analyse complex information and communicate finds clearly and concisely.
- Accurate, proactive and collaborative work style.
- Strong written and spoken English; enrolment at a Dutch university, or at an EU university for EU passport holders, is mandatory dur the internship.
