Senior Golang Engineer - DevOps Enablement (all genders)

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 yearly

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship internal services and developer tooling in Go.
• Deploy and operate owned services, including maintaining Helm charts and working with Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage service infrastructure with Terraform.
• Participate in on-call operations and maintain production reliability.
• Improve existing internal services, integrations, and the wider tooling ecosystem.
• Collaborate with development teams as users and contribute across the platform where needed.

Requirements

• Strong, current expertise in Go; most work is performed in Go.
• Experience building complex backend services and APIs.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm for deploying services and working with clusters.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and key-value stores such as Redis.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with GitLab CI.
• Experience building internal developer tooling.
