Senior Analytics / Data Engineer (dbt)

What you will do

• Own the Enterprise Data Platform end-to-end, from ingestion and transformation to consumption.
• Model and transform data with dbt using staging, intermediate, and marts layers.
• Maintain data quality, reliability, observability, testing, monitoring, alerting, and governance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Airbyte and Airflow ingestion pipelines connected to external APIs and data sources.
• Build Metabase dashboards, define KPIs with cross-functional stakeholders, and enable self-serve analytics.
• Improve the platform architecture and tooling, including AI agents, proactive metric alerting, and a semantic layer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Strong production experience with dbt, including modeling, testing, data quality, observability, and governance.
• Experience maintaining and debugging Airflow, Airbyte, or equivalent ingestion and orchestration pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with software engineering practices including version control, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Ability to work autonomously across the full data stack in a remote, async-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI agents, natural-language querying, or agentic assistants for data platforms.
• Familiarity with LLM and agent stacks, tool calling, or MCP integrations.
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
