TL;DR
Lead Technical Program Manager, Quality & Compliance (Automotive): Building and leading technical program management for company-wide quality, security, data privacy, and operational safety initiatives with an accent on ASPICE, pragmatic processes, and cross-functional governance. Focus on coaching a TPM team, embedding scalable compliance practices, coordinating audits and dependencies, and reducing risk without slowing delivery.

Location: London, United Kingdom; full-time role based in the London office with a hybrid working policy.

What you will do

  • Build, coach, and grow a small technical program management team.
  • Lead company-wide quality, security, data privacy, and operational safety initiatives from framework design through implementation.
  • Partner with engineering, product, safety, security, privacy, legal, and operations leaders to deliver outcomes and influence without authority.
  • Design lightweight processes that meet quality and compliance requirements with minimal operational friction.
  • Establish governance, KPIs, dashboards, audit readiness, escalations, and operational reviews.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, trade-offs, external auditors, and partners while linking programs to measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience delivering quality, compliance, or process programs as a technical program manager.
  • Experience spanning standards or domains such as ASPICE, ISO, security, privacy, or safety, including people and process leadership.
  • Experience building, coaching, and growing high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication, influencing, systems thinking, process design, and data-informed decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while maintaining organisational efficiency.

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448), ISO 27001, GDPR, or other automotive, safety, security, and privacy standards.
  • Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, or another regulated or safety-critical domain.
  • An engineering or computer science degree, or professional engineering experience.
