EHS Intern

Location: Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA; on-site

Salary: $22–$25 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct Job Safety Analyses for non-routine tasks and recommend risk mitigation measures.
• Perform hazardous waste inspections and support environmental compliance activities.
• Identify and implement recycling and sustainability initiatives.
• Conduct 5S audits, track corrective actions, and review SOPs for EHS compliance.
• Document contractor safety observations and develop toolbox talks, safety communications, and training materials.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Rising junior or senior standing at the time of the internship.
• Strong interest in workplace safety, environmental compliance, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
