Platform Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and build cloud platform infrastructure across multi-environment setups, including security controls.
• Create and manage scalable Infrastructure as Code for complex client environments.
• Optimise Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments for high availability and resource efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for production system health.
• Manage production environments, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Software and ML Engineers and mentor Engineers through peer reviews and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Deep experience with cloud networking, security, and identity management.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation and infrastructure automation.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and Docker environments at scale.
• Strong Python skills for building reliable platform tooling.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear solutions and communicate technical trade-offs with engineers and clients.
• Eligibility for UK Developed Vetting may be required, along with willingness to work on site with government clients from time to time.
