DevSecOps Support Engineer (Junior / Medior) (DevSecOps)

What you will do

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Help development teams automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues and maintain reusable pipeline templates.
• Integrate security controls and tools such as Aikido and SonarQube into development workflows.
• Help developers understand and remediate security findings, while supporting vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with developers, platform engineers, architects, and security specialists on automation, documentation, onboarding, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, software development, security, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of software development practices, version control, CI/CD concepts, and software delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles.
• Experience with code quality or security scanning tools.
• Basic understanding of Azure and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot.
