Revenue Analyst (Finance)

Location: Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Hybrid model with office attendance required for a minimum of 60% of working time over a 12-week period. A 28-day work-from-abroad policy is available.

Salary: £37,000–£50,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end billing workflows across advertising, partnerships, and other non-rail revenue streams.
• Maintain billing registers, prepare monthly accruals, and provide billing summary data for management accounts.
• Extract and validate advertising impression data, reconciling campaign delivery, insertion orders, and invoiced amounts.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Billing, Ad Operations, Credit, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve discrepancies and billing queries.
• Review contracts for billing requirements and support debt recovery, kickbacks, commissions, and international trading activity.
• Standardise billing workflows and help implement scalable automated solutions with the Finance Transformation team.

Requirements

• Background in revenue operations, billing, finance operations, or a closely related field.
• Strong accuracy, ownership, organisation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Intermediate to strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations, and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment and improve financial processes.
• Experience with Google Ad Manager or similar advertising revenue platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, billing automation, Finance Operations, or revenue transformation projects is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to improve efficiency and data workflows.
