Mechanical Design Engineer-Early Talent (Gas Turbine)

Location: Prague, Czech Republic; onsite five days a week

Salary: CZK 614,304 base minimum pay per year

A global industrial company developing and servicing turbine and driven-equipment systems for customers in power generation and related industries.

What you will do

• Design mechanical system retrofits and upgrades for turbine and driven-equipment packages.
• Configure standard products according to project requirements and select special components.
• Prepare parts lists, manufacturing documentation, functional descriptions, manuals, and final project documentation.
• Generate purchase orders for standard components and extended-scope items.
• Support production teams and collaborate with engineering, fabrication, assembly, logistics, and field installation personnel.
• Facilitate design reviews and identify, analyze, and resolve project issues.

Requirements

• Engineering degree and at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Promis-e, and/or Creo.
• Understanding of mechanical systems including starting, fuel, air, lubrication, sealing, and enclosure systems.
• Experience with interconnect design covering piping, tubing, and electrical systems.
• Experience preparing regulatory documentation for CE marking, Declarations of Conformity, and ATEX compliance.
• Good technical English and the ability to work onsite in Prague five days per week are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with gas turbine OEMs or service providers.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Power Generation industries.
• Knowledge of Italian or German.
• Familiarity with Root Cause Analysis and corrective action processes.
