Senior Project Manager (IT)

Location: Penang, Malaysia; international travel required as needed

What you will do

• Lead complex international ISIT projects from initiation through closure.
• Manage M&A, carve-out, integration, infrastructure, application, ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, and transformation projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress, quality, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional international teams, vendors, consultants, contracts, and implementation partners.
• Improve ISIT PMO governance, standards, templates, documentation, handover, knowledge transfer, and project closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience in IT project management, including large, complex, and international projects.
• Practical experience with M&A, carve-outs, divestitures, post-merger integration, IT due diligence, Day 1 readiness, separation or integration planning, and TSA management.
• Valid PMP certification is mandatory.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, planning, budgeting, resource and risk management, reporting, change control, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP, SAP, MES, PLM, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or data migration.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
