Project Manager (PMP Certification- Must)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work with up to 2 days per week from home

What you will do

• Manage projects throughout their lifecycle, from inception to closure, across varying scopes and levels of complexity.
• Control project scope, schedules, risks, changes, budgets, margins, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate local and distributed project teams, track progress against plans, and take corrective action when required.
• Communicate project status, responsibilities, risks, issues, and decisions to teams, management, stakeholders, and customers.
• Work directly with customers to ensure project goals and objectives are delivered successfully.
• Prepare project plans, communications strategies, status and variance reports, change requests, risk and issue logs, Steering Committee reports, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• PMP certification is required.
• Proven project management experience with strong problem-solving, self-management, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, budgets, margins, and on-time delivery.
• Experience with infrastructure projects, preferably in aviation, airlines, airports, or telecommunications.
• Knowledge or experience in cybersecurity for airline and airport environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid format from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience with airline and airport infrastructure involving SD-WAN, airport hubs, Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, firewalls, kiosks, baggage drops, or common-use equipment.
• Aviation industry experience.
• Infrastructure program experience rather than application or software project experience.
• Additional language skills for projects across the APAC region and globally.
