Controls and Governance Manager (Crypto)

OKX operates a crypto exchange and digital-asset wallet, providing access to crypto trading and decentralized applications for retail and institutional users.

What you will do

• Design and strengthen controls for sales practices, customer communications, client classification, conflicts of interest, product governance, and fair customer outcomes.
• Define and implement sales surveillance and business conduct monitoring, including local reviews, investigations, escalations, and remediation.
• Analyse complaints, onboarding and KYC issues, incidents, sales activity, and operational data to identify risks and improve customer journeys.
• Maintain the Singapore risk register, coordinate RCSA activities, monitor KRIs, and support periodic control testing.
• Coordinate incident investigations, root-cause analysis, audit and regulatory review support, and remediation tracking.
• Support outsourcing governance, the Singapore Outsourcing Register, governance forums, and risk reporting to management committees.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in business compliance, front-office controls, conduct risk, sales surveillance, regulatory compliance, or related regulated financial-services roles.
• Good understanding of Singapore financial-services regulation and MAS expectations, including business conduct, client classification, sales practices, product governance, conflicts of interest, and customer outcomes.
• Hands-on experience designing or executing sales surveillance, conduct monitoring, or front-office controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including using client, transaction, or activity data to identify risks and translate requirements into practical controls.
• Strong stakeholder-management and execution skills across Commercial, Product, Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital assets or crypto.
• Familiarity with operational risk, RCSA, outsourcing, audit, and governance frameworks.
