Technician (Optical Assembly)

What you will do

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and optical assembly and testing.
• Assemble, align, and test optical applications, including lens assemblies.
• Apply electrostatic discharge controls when working with ESD-sensitive components.
• Follow safety, quality, material control, cleanliness, and workmanship procedures.
• Recommend and implement preventive and corrective measures for continuous improvement.
• Work with engineering on new product introduction and transition between departments as business needs evolve.

Requirements

• GCE 'N' Level, technical certificate, or higher.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in opto-mechanical assembly.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to handle lens assemblies and comply with QMEHS requirements.
• Disciplined, collaborative, and able to work with minimal supervision.
