Manufacturing Technician

hirify.global develops materials science and engineering solutions and equipment for semiconductor chips and advanced displays.

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electromechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Perform electromechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps.
• Receive and audit parts, inspect them for defects, and troubleshoot or improve manufacturing processes.
• Complete job documentation, data entry, expense and labor details, and perform software installation or repair when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding cleanroom environment, including extended standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and use of hand and power tools.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using established operating procedures or scientific methods.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
