Manufacturing Technician 2 (Medical Devices)

Location: Singapore – Woodlands – NorthTech; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Assemble electro-optical and mechanical subsystems according to standard operating procedures.
• Align complex optical and laser-based systems using in-house software and instruments.
• Perform calibration, functional testing, final instrument integration, and full system testing.
• Troubleshoot components and integrated systems, collect and analyze data, and respond to quality data.
• Complete final product inspection, quality control, packaging, work orders, and inventory transactions in MES and ERP systems.
• Support work-instruction updates, non-conformance reporting, equipment maintenance coordination, Lean, 6S, material kitting, and inventory checks.

Requirements

• Experience with FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing.
• Knowledge of compliance and safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues and provide concise verbal information.
• Ability to visually distinguish yellow, blue, red, and brown components or chemicals used during operations.
• Knowledge and skills gained through previous experience performing similar manufacturing work in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience with SOPs, travelers, work instructions, GMP, 6S, and Lean.
