Senior International Accountant

Location: Dublin 3, Ireland; travel below 5%

What you will do

• Manage financial accounting and monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities for assigned entities.
• Own balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, reconciliations, fixed assets, cash management, and forecasting.
• Prepare quarter-end reporting, statutory filings, corporate income tax returns, and VAT compliance reports.
• Support US GAAP lease accounting, year-end audit clearance, statutory audits, tax audits, and enquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and ensure financial processes follow corporate policies.
• Collaborate with European controllers, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, treasury, corporate accounting, tax, and local advisers; support M&A integration and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA or ACCA certification.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Considerable experience preparing financial statements and good working knowledge of GAAP.
• Ability to meet immovable deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
• Ability to work in a matrix, multicultural environment with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones.

Nice to have

• SAP experience.
• US GAAP or multinational company experience.
• European language skills.
