Backend Developer (Golang)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace

Salary: €4,000–€6,500 gross per month

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend systems and solutions.
• Develop, review, document, and maintain clean, tested code.
• Own the full development cycle from research and prototyping through deployment.
• Create and review technical designs, code, and documentation.
• Build and optimize microservices for performance and stability.
• Contribute to technical decisions in an early-stage, fast-growing project.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Golang.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including query optimization and debugging.
• Experience with or strong interest in real-time data processing and event streaming.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Kafka, MySQL clusters, GitLab CI, or Redis.
• Commitment to automated testing and high-quality technical work.
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid change, and collaborative technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices, deployment pipelines, and automation.
• Knowledge of web scraping.
• Experience with other programming languages.
