Implementation Senior Engineer (Airport Solutions)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; frequent travel to international and domestic customer locations is required.

What you will do

• Lead the installation, configuration, deployment, and end-to-end implementation of airport IT, common-use, and self-service solutions.
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers, project managers, system integrators, subcontractors, and third parties.
• Develop implementation plans, report project status and risks, and represent delivery progress in governance and stakeholder forums.
• Coordinate onsite hardware installation, connectivity setup, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
• Advise customers on architecture, upgrades, usability, and best practices while supporting pre-sales technical discussions.
• Drive interface management, testing, system validation, quality assurance, and resolution of technical issues through go-live.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Airport Management Systems or Passenger Processing Systems.
• Understanding of network concepts such as GWAN, LAN, and DHCP, or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of version control systems, hardware and electrical components, software development principles, Windows OS, and client/server architecture.
• Experience preparing implementation documentation, test plans, test cases, and supporting AAT, UAT, SAT, and OAT.
• Effective English communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and customer stakeholders.
• Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; willingness to travel frequently is required.
