HSE Manager (Biopharma)

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE strategies and programs across hirify.global Japan.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, workers' compensation, and statutory requirements.
• Lead HSE training, including road safety and ergonomics, investigate incidents, and manage corrective actions and reporting.
• Manage the HSE Management System, including risk assessments, contractor compliance, medical surveillance, accident reporting, and facility audits.
• Lead energy efficiency, recycling, and other environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Manage Medical Room operations and deliver employee health, wellbeing, and wellness programs in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven HSE experience, ideally in a matrixed multinational organization.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE management systems.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, presentation, coaching, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
• Sound understanding of legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English, spoken and written, are required.
• HSE Professional ( ) and Infectious Waste Management and Control ( （ ）) certification or license is strongly preferred.
