Environment, Health & Safety Manager

Location: Gotemba, Japan; onsite anchor role

What you will do

• Provide health, safety, and environmental support for the operation site.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and company requirements.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, support injury and illness case management, and monitor injury and incident rates.
• Develop and deliver safety and environmental training, maintain records, and lead employee safety and environmental committees.
• Report safety and environmental performance, compliance, expenses, incidents, trends, and progress against goals.
• Review new operations, processes, materials, and products for hazards and controls; manage waste disposal programs, safety data sheets, and EHS capital projects while supervising two staff members.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in EHS-related work.
• Business-level English proficiency.
• Experience managing compliance, incident investigations, safety training, waste disposal, and process or material safety.
