Senior Product Designer (Geospatial)

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany or Haarlem, Netherlands; work from the office 3 days per week.

Salary: €66,600–€83,300 gross annual salary in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end product design process from discovery and user research through prototyping, validation, and high-fidelity execution.
• Design and launch CivGov and Commercial Solutions for users working with satellite Earth Observation data.
• Define user profiles, jobs-to-be-done, success criteria, and end-to-end workflows for high-value market opportunities.
• Architect intuitive interfaces that translate complex geospatial data into actionable insights.
• Develop scalable interaction patterns and reusable components in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Contribute to design culture and align cross-functional teams around ambiguous problem spaces and customer value.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing complex SaaS or B2B products from ideation to launch.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or an equivalent field.
• Portfolio demonstrating complex professional projects, design process, and measurable impact.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, UX/UI, interaction design, rapid prototyping, accessibility, and visual design.
• Proficiency in Figma and enterprise design systems.
• Experience designing sophisticated, data-heavy applications and working effectively in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS, geospatial data, or remote sensing.
• Experience with AI-powered tools or an AI-native approach to ideation, design, or prototype generation.
• Experience solving complex systemic problems and balancing user needs with business requirements.
