Community Engagement Partner (Telecommunications)

Location: Birmingham Area, United Kingdom; the role involves in-person events and community activities.

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 base salary per year, with an OTE of £45,000–£50,000.

What you will do

• Represent EE and BT as an ambassador in local communities, both in person and online.
• Plan and deliver events for schools, community groups, shopping centres, and libraries, including online safety and digital skills sessions.
• Work with marketing and strategy teams to deliver high-impact community events.
• Create short-form hyperlocal social media content, including technology tips, product explainers, and community stories.
• Build long-term partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with local businesses and grassroots sports clubs.
• Manage local planning, time, and budget while supporting brand growth and market share.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both online and in person.
• Commercial awareness, including confident selling and negotiating with local organisations.
• Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to identify engagement opportunities and use demographic data.
• Confidence using technology and social media.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage independent work.
• Positive presence in the Birmingham area and willingness to work in local communities.
