Events & Community Manager (AI)

Location: Central London; on-site at the London HQ. The role requires a London-based network.

Salary: £50,000–£80,000 base per year plus meaningful equity.

Jack & Jill is an approximately 25-person hiring company headquartered in London that raised a $40M Series A and is expanding its startup presence.

What you will do

• Own career fairs, founder dinners, meetups, and new event formats from concept and logistics through execution and follow-up.
• Turn events into recaps, clips, photos, and posts for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
• Activate and expand a London network of founders, VCs, and operators.
• Connect events and content with awareness and pipeline, measuring what works.
• Work hands-on from the London HQ alongside the UK GTM team and report to the GTM Lead.

Requirements

• Experience running event series at high volume and amplifying them on social media with measurable reach.
• Background in events, community, or content at a startup, fintech, or VC-adjacent company, ideally in London.
• Recognized connector in the London ecosystem with an established network and discoverable content.
• Hands-on experience building a community, meetup, event series, or following from zero.
• Ability to connect community and event activity with warm pipeline and measurable outcomes.
• Comfort with the hands-on, high-ownership reality of an early-stage startup.
• UK right to work is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience running events or communities at a VC fund or accelerator and promoting founder dinners, demo days, or portfolio moments on social media.
• Experience as the first community, events, or partnerships hire, building the function from scratch.
• Experience tying community work to sign-ups, acquisition, or partnerships with quantified results.
• Genuine interest in AI and the future of hiring.
