Senior Satellite Constellation Manager (Satellite Operations)

Location: Remote from within proximity of hirify.global team members in the United Arab Emirates; frequent collaboration with Pacific and Europe time zones, travel within the Middle East, and travel to California or Germany 2–3 times per year.

hirify.global designs, builds, and operates imaging satellite constellations and delivers satellite imagery through a cloud-based data platform.

What you will do

• Own overall program success for Pelican satellite constellation initiatives and ensure delivered capabilities meet customer and business requirements.
• Lead contract execution and serve as the bridge between hirify.global and strategic MENA customers and partners.
• Coordinate engineering, operations, product, finance, and commercial teams through integrated program execution.
• Ensure satellites are healthy and productive on orbit throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Align programs with Pelican’s commercial, technical, and product roadmaps.
• Assess and balance engineering, launch, and operational risks while representing programs to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in space systems development, management, and/or operations; relevant aerospace or technology program experience may also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent Arabic and professional working proficiency in English.
• Deep expertise in LEO satellite operations, satellite design, mission success, tasking business models, and remote sensing technology.
• Ability to make autonomous decisions, manage ambiguity and risk, and align execution with technical and strategic roadmaps.
• Ability to work from within proximity of the UAE-based hirify.global team and maintain availability for Pacific and Europe time zones.

• Experience developing, managing, or operating large satellite constellations.
• Experience leading major corporate initiatives through cross-departmental teams.
• Examples of proactively managing and mitigating risk in space programs.
