A320 Family Systems Installation Liaison Engineer (Aerospace): Performing live on-aircraft troubleshooting and analyzing aircraft system test data across the A320 Family production environment with an accent on aircraft safety, airworthiness, and full-system coverage. Focus on diagnosing system malfunctions, evaluating flight-line telemetry anomalies, and developing compliant corrective actions for aircraft control, avionics, hydro-mechanical, cabin, APU, and power plant systems.

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; onsite 100%

What you will do

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostic assessments on aircraft during ground and flight-line operations.
  • Analyze and interpret aircraft system test data from ground tests and production flights.
  • Support engineering activities across aircraft control, avionics, hydro-mechanical, cabin, APU, and power plant systems.
  • Ensure approved rework and troubleshooting strategies comply with aircraft safety and continuing airworthiness standards.
  • Represent MAP Engineering at flight-line debriefs with flight test engineers and production crews.
  • Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally to supplier and customer sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
  • Approximately one year of relevant aerospace engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve engineering problems independently and effectively.
  • Must work onsite in Mobile, Alabama.
  • Must hold an EASA, TCCA, or FAA Class 2 Medical and be able to perform duties as aircrew daily.
  • Current U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available for this U.S. position.
