Sr. Business Systems Analyst, ServiceNow AI and Automation (Remote)

Location: Remote within the United States; role associated with Austin, Texas

Salary: $125,000–$180,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses and equity grants

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders to maintain a strategic roadmap and coordinate ServiceNow enhancements and projects.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for scalable AI-assisted and automated workflows.
• Design automation using NOW Assist GenAI, Flow Designer, orchestration, Virtual Agent, decision logic, and platform integrations.
• Define guardrails, acceptance criteria, success metrics, process definitions, and functional designs.
• Collaborate with developers and architects while owning requirements, fit/gap analysis, testing, training, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Drive self-service adoption, improve end-user experience, and ensure data consistency across ServiceNow and integrated systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
• 10+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering SaaS business systems, including at least 4 years with ServiceNow.
• Strong ServiceNow experience across workflows such as ITSM, HRSD, CSM, and Employee Center.
• Experience using AI technologies and designing ServiceNow automation and self-service solutions.
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL practices, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Configuration, and Asset Management.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, or SDLC experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with ServiceNow Now Assist, enterprise copilots, or internal AI tools.
• Experience designing AI-assisted workflows beyond basic chatbots and understanding of AI governance and responsible use.
• ServiceNow certifications, AI Control Tower knowledge, Performance Analytics, CMDB, CSDM, Employee Center Pro, or Asset & Configuration Management experience.
• ITIL Foundation v3 or higher.
